Jennifer Lopez Kicked Off Leo Season With A Lavish ‘Bridgerton’ Themed Birthday Party

Leo season is officially here, which means that things are starting to fire up— and Jennifer Lopez has started celebrations early, shaking off reports of marital drama.

While her actual birthday isn’t until the 24th of July, Lopez held the official Leo season kick-off party for her 55th birthday giving us a taste of what to expect with a lavish- Bridgerton-themed celebration in the Hamptons.

The Leo star sign, ruled by the sun, is known for extravagance and taking centre stage; they’re all about Main Character Energy, something Lopez has in spades.

Suitably, Lopez’s birthday took as much pre-planning as one of her concerts, with The Daily Mail reporting that “a large van full of flowers could be spotted arriving at her party venue, where a horse and buggy also appeared to have been hired for the occasion.” Luxury furniture from the brand Serena & Lily was also spotted, with the singer ensuring the stage was set. The event featured ballgowns, horse-drawn carriages and friends and family, but husband and fellow Leo Ben Affleck was notably absent as the couple field divorce rumours.

While many celebrities go to ground during marital speculation, Lopez isn’t one of them. The star posted to Instagram fully made up with cat eyeliner, loads of lipgloss and chunky gold Chanel earrings, writing simply: “Today is gonna be a great day, happy Saturday everyone.”

A true Leo queen.
