In her first post since they went “officially broken up,” with Lopez filing for divorce on August 20th, Lopez served a carousel of images that told fans she’s feeling blessed and unbothered.
Lopez was recently spotted out and about for the first time on August 30th, wearing an on-trend halterneck and a signature blow wave. Now, she’s followed up with the post to the grid that shows she’s better than fine.
The image on her grid shows the singer and actress looking snatched with a slick-backed pony and figure-hugging turtleneck. Her caption reads, “Oh, it was a summer.” It certainly has been. After months of speculation, solo Bridgerton-themed birthdays, and more contradictory “reports from sources” than celebrity watchers ever thought possible, the couple is officially split.
Jennifer Lopez has frequently referred to Affleck as the love of her life, and told Zane Lowe of Apple Music that their initial breakup was “the biggest heartbreak of my life. Understandably, fans have been concerned about how the singer is coping with the dissolution of her marriage, which is just under two years old.
The carousel included a quote, “Everything is unfolding in divine order,” indicating Lopez is feeling positive after the breakup, which brought an end to one of the most iconic celebrity-getting-back-together Hollywood narratives. Another shot showed Lopez wearing a loose T-shirt that read, “She’s in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace.” Shots of pets, family, and friends followed, along with another breathtaking, swimwear-clad bathroom and a dolled-up out-to-dinner snap in a floaty white dress and red accessories.
