Jennifer Lopez and Jharrel Jerome are set to star in the upcoming wrestling biopic, 'Unstoppable,' which is based on the inspiring true story of Anthony Robles. The film, directed by William Goldenberg, has released its first look images, showcasing the talented cast and the compelling narrative.

'Unstoppable' follows the remarkable journey of wrestler Anthony Robles, portrayed by Jharrel Jerome, who overcame the challenge of being born with one leg to achieve great success in the sport. In 2011, Robles made history by winning a national championship while competing for Arizona State University.

In the film, Jennifer Lopez takes on the role of Anthony's supportive mother, Judy, while Bobby Cannavale plays his father, Rick. The cast also includes Michael Peña as coach Bobby Williams and Don Cheadle as wrestling coach Shawn Charles.

The official synopsis of the movie highlights Robles' incredible determination and triumph as he becomes an NCAA Division 1 Champion, culminating in a national championship victory against the formidable Iowa team, the same school that initially turned him down.

'Unstoppable' was produced by Ben Affleck through his production company Artists Equity, in collaboration with Matt Damon. Anthony Robles himself served as a producer on the film and also worked as Jharrel Jerome's stunt double for the demanding wrestling scenes.

This project marks William Goldenberg's directorial debut, adding to his impressive resume, which includes an Academy Award for editing 'Argo' and nominations for films like 'The Imitation Game' and 'Zero Dark Thirty.'

The biopic is based on the book 'Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion,' co-authored by Robles and Murphy. It is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September before hitting select theaters in December, offering audiences a chance to witness the inspiring story of Anthony Robles on the big screen.
