Jennifer Lawrence makes glam return to red carpet just months after giving birth

Jennifer Lawrence was back stunning onlookers as she attended a red carpet gig for the first time since becoming a mum.

The Oscar winner, 32, welcomed her first child with husband Cooke Maroney in February as she gave birth to a baby boy.

And now the star took to the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend as she prepared for the premiere of her new flick, Causeway, which is a psychological drama. The production is set for release in cinema and on Apple TV+ in November.

Jennifer looked amazing as she donned a strapless black Dior Haute Couture's gown. The dress showed off a ruffled, off-the-shoulder neckline and sheer overlay and she complimented it with a stylish pair of open-toed black heels.

She flashed her signature smile in the direction of the adoring onlookers and completed her look by sweeping her wavy blonde locks to one side.

Jennifer and Cooke, 37, had originally kept her pregnancy a secret until September last year when the news was revealed. She was spotted with a noticeable bump in New York, leading to speculation which she later confirmed.

Jennifer recently revealed the name of her new tot in an interview with Vogue. The Hunger Games star opted for the name Cy and explained how she came up with the name as it is the first name of one of her hubby's favourite artists - Cy Twombly.

In the discussion with the publication, Jennifer said it was scared to talk about motherhood as everyone's journey is different, but also gushed about how it felt to become a mum. She said: "I mean the euphoria of Cy is just—Jesus, it's impossible. I always tell him, 'I love you so much it's impossible.'"

She opened up to Vogue about how she had to undergo a surgical procedure for her second miscarriage to remove tissue from her uterus.
