Jennifer Ellison is thrilled to see herself back on Brookside after it was picked up by a streaming service.
The Liverpool-based soap opera was revived for a new generation of fans to enjoy after STV Player struck a major new deal with distributor, All3Media International. The show's entire backlog of episodes is now available to stream.
The breakout star from the series, Jennifer Ellison, who played Emily Shadwick on the cul-de-sac for five years, has taken a trip down memory lane by kicking back and binging her earliest work.

The actress shared several screengrabs of her character on the programme as she reminisced about the good old days. Jennifer's caption said: "So brilliant that @wearestv1 are showing Brookside again. Loving seeing all these old pics. Those were the days!"
Several of the photos showed a fresh-faced Jennifer standing alongside her co-stars or perched on top of the street's Brookside sign. Her fans joined in on celebrating the show's return by flooding the actress' comment section with compliments.
One long-time Brookside fan said: The best soap there ever was." Another added: "Loved your characters Tinhead and Emily. Me and my friends used to love watching Brookside."
