Celebrities from around the country gathered in Liverpool for the National Diversity Awards.
The city played host to a range of guests coming together for a special celebration. The National Diversity Awards, which were housed in the Liverpool Cathedral, were held tonight and with them came a long guest list of celebrity stars.
Brookside and Celebrity SAS star Jennifer Ellison were among the guests of honour this evening as she glammed up with a figure-hugging black and white dress with a revealing bust. The latest Loose Women inductee, Dame Kelly Holmes, also made an appearance as she is nominated for the Celebrity of the Year Award, sporting a striking pleated yellow dress with cutouts.

Kelly is in good company as actor Sir Lenny Henry, footballer Jake Daniels and rapper Lady Leshurr are all shortlisted alongside her. Geordie Shore's Natalie Phillips and television personality Austin Armacost, one of this year's judges, also made their way to the cathedral to enjoy a night of honours.
EastEnders star Nina Wadia, who is best known for playing Zainab Masood on the BBC soap, hosted tonight's awards. The black tie event celebrated the achievements of grass-root communities that tackle the issues in today’s society, giving them recognition for their dedication and hard work.
All those who are shortlisted have “showcased an outstanding devotion to enchanting equality, diversity and inclusion; thus embracing the excellence of all our citizens irrespective of race, faith, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability and culture.”
