Jelly Roll is going to make headlines once again this week, not for his music, but for a shocking chokeslam that took place not in a wrestling ring, but on the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. As the Grammy-nominated country artist gets ready for his wrestling debut at WWE SummerSlam, he brought the action to late-night television by slamming social media influencer and part-time wrestler Logan Paul through Kimmel's talk show desk.

The stunt, staged during Jelly Roll's guest-hosting spot on Wednesday night's episode, was part of a kayfabe storyline ahead of his official in-ring tag-team debut. The 40-year-old musician is set to team up with veteran WWE legend Randy Orton in a high-profile bout against Paul and Drew McIntyre next month.
