With a September premiere for their FX drama officially set only hours earlier, Jeff Bridges, John Lithgow and the creative team behind The Old Man revealed exciting details about the spy thriller’s upcoming second season. The two stars will finally share scenes together, fulfilling a desire they both had since the show's inception.
During a panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, Lithgow expressed his eagerness to work with Bridges, and the second season will grant them that opportunity. The storyline will see their characters teaming up to rescue Bridges’ on-screen daughter, played by Alia Shawkat, who has been kidnapped in Afghanistan.
