Jeff Brazier has shared his fears over his and the late Jade Goody’s son Bobby’s newfound fame.

Bobby, 19, who has modelled for Dolce & Gabbana and was recently offered a role on BBC soap EastEnders, made headlines for flirting with and kissing a string of women at the National Television Awards last week as he celebrated the show winning Best Soap.

Brazier, who also has another son, Freddie, 17, with the late reality TV star, admitted he “didn’t like it” and said it was a reminder of the experiences he went through with Big Brother legend Goody.

“I know the hurt that we experienced as a result of certain scenarios and obviously don’t want my children to experience the same,” he said.

“But they’re old enough to do their own thing. I can only hope that I’ve talked enough sense over time for them to be able to navigate those aspects in a way that works for them.”

He went on to claim that he “knew” Bobby would end up in the industry as he has “all the ingredients”, adding:

“Bob’s done exactly what I would’ve wanted him to do, not in terms of modelling and acting, but ultimately earning the right to be referred to by his name, and not as somebody’s son. And he has earned that.’

Bobby took to Instagram on Sunday to explain why he was smooching three women at the NTA after-party.

“I’m very affectionate with my people,” he wrote. “Can get me in trouble or situations sometimes but it’s instinctive.

“Lots of rumours but the bottom line is I just love a cuddle.”

Bobby was seen planting a kiss on his co-star Danielle Harold’s head as they partied the night away. Later in the evening, he was seen passionately kissing a mystery brunette on the dancefloor before heading home with a third woman.

An attendee told the Sun: “Bobby was living his best life at the NTAs and was really going for it.

“Danielle ended up going home after the ceremony ended and Bobby moved to the after-party, where he caught the eye of a brunette woman. They started snogging on the dance floor in front of everyone – he didn’t care who could see him.”

Bobby recently split from his model girlfriend, Liberty Love, back in July, just two months after making their romance public.

The young actor landed his first major role in EastEnders this year, playing Freddie Slater, the son of Little Mo Slater, who was last seen in Walford in 2006.

Bobby, who recently said his late mother, who died in 2009 from cervical cancer, would have been proud of his EastEnders’ success, was just a child when the star was vilified after making racist comments towards Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.

The comments sparked global outrage and even saw effigies of the TV star burnt in India.

The controversy attracted 44,500 Ofcom complaints and her comments were condemned by then-Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
