
Students who cracked the JEE Advanced 2022 exam are eligible for admission after the counselling process.
The exam was held for two compulsory papers between 9 am and 12 noon and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm on August 28. It was earlier scheduled to be conducted on July 3, however, it was later reschedule to be held on August 28.
How to check JEE Advanced 2022 result?
1) Visit the official website---jeeadv.ac.in.
2) Click on the result link and login with registration number, mobile number, and date of birth.
3) Scorecard will appear on screen.
4) Download and take a print out for future reference.
As per PTI reports, Bombay Zone's R K Shishir bagged the top rank and secured 314 out of 360 marks. Tanishka Kabra from the Delhi zone is the topper among females with 277 marks. Her all-India rank is 16. More than 40,000 candidates have qualified.
Shishir is followed by Polu Lakshmi Sai Lohith Reddy and Thomas Biju Cheeramvelil on the second and third spots.
A senior IIT Bombay official said, "As many as 1,55,538 candidates appeared in both paper one and two in JEE (Advanced) 2022. A total of 40,712 candidates have qualified of which 6,516 are females."
"R K Shishir of IIT Bombay zone is the top ranker in Common Rank List (CRL). He obtained 314 marks out of 360. Tanishka Kabra of the IIT Delhi zone is the top-ranked female with CRL 16. She obtained 277 marks out of 360," he added.
Others in the top 10 include – Vangapalli Sai Siddhartha, Mayank Motwani, Polisetty Karthikeya, Pratik Sahoo, Dheeraj Kurukunda, Mahit Gadhiwala, and Vetcha Gnana Mahesh.
Around 2.62 lakh candidates from JEE-(Main) have qualified for the JEE-(Advanced), with the maximum students coming from Uttar Pradesh, followed by Maharashtra and Telangana.
