Jean Johansson is echoing the sentiments of parents up and down Scotland this week as her young son takes the next leap towards his future. The Scots TV host said she's "distraught" that Junior is finishing up at primary school today and will be moving on to high school after the summer.
Channel 4 A Place in the Sun presenter Jean shared a sweet snap to Instagram this morning, featuring side-by-side comparisons of her 11-year-old son on his first day and last day at school. The mum-of-one said alongside the cute photo: "Where does the time go? I’m distraught #lastdayofprimaryschool "
Jean, 40, shares Junior with former Rangers striker Jonatan Johansson and took time off to "concentrate on being a mum" when her baby was first born. She tends to keep snaps of her son off social media but shares the odd image of her boy now and then, who she's hailed as her "favourite person" in previous posts.

Jean will keep her mind off things with her busy work schedule which has ramped up recently following the Animal Park presenter's BBC Scotland documentary The Truth About Scotland And Racism. Jean attempted a new challenge with the project and spoke about growing up in Scotland and continuously being subject to racism, speaking to others who have found themselves in the same situations.
Jean has been with former Rangers striker Jonatan Johansson for several years and the couple tied the knot in June 2008 in Stockholm.
In May, the star was on cloud nine after winning Celebrity Mastermind.
The only thing that topped Jean's happiness at being crowned champion on the notoriously tough BBC One quiz show was a congratulatory tweet from her specialist subject, Kylie Minogue.
The Australian singer reached out to her after Jean gave a shout out to her on Twitter following her win.
