JDM: Japanese Drift Master PS5 Version Includes All Post-Launch Updates

Fans of drifting and open-world racing are getting a major early-year treat. JDM: Japanese Drift Master, the anime-inspired indie racing game originally released for PC and Xbox Series X|S, is sliding onto PlayStation 5 on February 6, 2026.

The best part is that it will launch with every post-launch update that the game has received so far. That means players won’t need to grind through patches or wait for content drops; everything released since the original launch day will be ready right out of the gate.

What To Expect

The PS5 version will feature everything that was released on the Xbox and PC. From basic features like Photo Mode, the Landmarks activity, to all the fan-favorite cars like Honda NSX NA1, Subaru Impreza, and Nissan GT-R R35. Along with that, it will also include an expanded Eurobeat radio playlist that you can listen to while drifting across the streets of Japan.

In addition, the “Made in USA” DLC will be available on PS5 from day one. That paid expansion adds six unlicensed vehicles inspired by American muscle and drifting culture, along with extra tuning parts that let players customize their builds even deeper.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master was first released on PC via Steam, and it quickly garnered a lot of attention for its recreation of Japan, manga-style storytelling, and focus on Japanese car culture. The driving physics offered a mix of realism and arcade, making it perfect for both sim enthusiasts and casual racing game fans. The Xbox Series X/S port arrived in November 2025, and now PS5 players will finally get their turn behind the wheel with the most complete version yet.

If you have been looking to try out a new racing game on the PS5, then you can play JDM on February 6 when it drops. It’s one of the most unique and fun racing games, and you are bound to have a blast. Plus, it will feature everything that was released on PC and Xbox, so you are getting the full JDM experience on the PS5 from day one with no compromises or missing features whatsoever.
