Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance recently made controversial remarks about Republican former Rep. Liz Cheney, questioning her motivations and character. Vance accused Cheney of being driven by resentment and pettiness towards those who contributed to her reelection loss in 2022, rather than a love for the country. He described her as a small person with an obsessive hatred towards her detractors.
Vance, known for his support of former President Donald Trump, praised Trump as a symbol of a 'big tent common sense team' during his campaign trail. He cited examples of individuals from different political backgrounds, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp.
