Jazza Dickens will defend his IBO world featherweight title in Liverpool in the early part of this year.
Dickens won the vacant IBO crown at Probellum’s second Liverpool show back in October, out-pointing Lerato Dlamini after 12 intense rounds of boxing. The 31-year-old had twice fallen short in world title attempts but on an emotional night at the Eventim Olympia, he got the better of the dangerous South African.
And speaking to the ECHO ahead of his appearance on the Goodison Park pitch during Everton’s Boxing Day defeat to Wolves, Dickens revealed his next fight will be in Liverpool.
