By now, fans of the Boston Celtics have likely heard the updated version of the infamous “wheelchair game” from Paul Pierce. In a recent interview for the Showtime Basketball “KG Certified” podcast, Pierce explained to an amused Jaylen Brown how he had sprained his MCL in Game 1 of the 2008 NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.

But there was much more to that conversation than poop-adjacent retellings; The Truth and Brown chopped it up with current Celtics Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart along with fellow Boston Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett about coming up together, their losses in the NBA Finals, the importance of passions away from the sport and more.
