It seems that star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown felt as if the way his team handled rumors tying him to Kevin Durant over the summer per a recent interview with The Ringer’s Logan Murdock. According to Brown, he was thrown for a bit of a loop on witnessing his teammate Jayson Tatum working out with the Brooklyn Nets star in the thick of those offseason rumors.
Durant “and JT are friends,” related the Georgia native. “They (were) working out together and whatnot. So, I wasn’t sure what the energy was. I wasn’t sure what the direction of the organization was,” added Brown, who made a point of reaching out to Tatum and team president Brad Stevens to learn more about where everyone’s head was at.
