Javagal Srinath set to officiate in 250th ODI as match referee

BENGALURU: Former India pacer Javagal Srinath, now an ICC Elite Panel of match referee, is set to reach a milestone during the ongoing Asia Cup on Monday. The 54-year-old will officiate in his 250th men’s ODI in the Asia Cup match between India and Nepal in Pallekele, Sri Lanka on Monday.

The former pace merchant, who finished with 236 wickets in 67 Test matches and 315 wickets in 229 ODIs, retired from the sport in 2003 and became an ICC match referee in 2006.
