Things took a sudden turn for Twitch streamer JasonTheWeen during a livestream on April 9, 2026. He told viewers that the red 2026 Hyundai Sonata he planned to give away was stolen. The moment came live on stream, and clips quickly spread online, especially after being shared by an X user named @FearedBuck. What was meant to be a big giveaway quickly became a confusing and debated situation.
During the stream, he showed what he said was security footage and tried to explain what happened. He said, “Brother, the giveaway car got stolen, I am not even joking. They used a flipping device? I swear this is real.” While he sounded serious, many viewers were not fully convinced. Instead of support, the reaction online quickly turned into doubt and questions.
