Comedian Jason Manford has mournfully offered to sell his plane tickets to Paris after Manchester City lost their latest fixture against Real Madrid.

The comic posted the message on Twitter after Man City missed out on a place in the final, losing 3 - 1 to the Spanish side.

Had the Manchester side claimed victory in the face-off against Real Madrid they would have faced off against rivals Liverpool in the final of the UEFA Champions League.
