Jason Manford has spoken out after critical Starstruck viewers compared the show to hit 90s series Stars in Their Eyes.
The talent show, which sees people transform into their idols, has been likened to the old series which previously aired on Granada.
Starstruck, judged by Queen's Adam Lambert, soul singer Beverley Knight, award-winning singer and actress Sheridan Smith and Salford comedian and West End star Jason Manford, has look-alike and sound-alikes competing in teams as they transform into the world's biggest music icons.
