Chuffed Jason Cummings saluted new pal Olivier Giroud after France's all-time top scorer sent him a signed Milan top.
It comes after the the Australia star claimed he missed out on the former Arsenal and Chelsea star's top at the World Cup after the striker told him his English wasn't up to scratch. And the hilarity continued when Giroud himself got in on the act as he shared the image of his match worn Jackson Irvine shirt after their clash in the group stage of the showpiece event in Qatar.
Cummings revealed last month he was expecting a shirt from Giroud in the post and the striker was true to his word as Cummings returned the favour with a Central Coast Mariners kit and a special gift native to life Down Under. Posting on Instagram, he said: "What a legend Olivier Giroud. Finally got my hands on your jersey haha. Your English is better than my French mon frère. Top man and all the best for the season. Enjoy the Vegemite bro."
It appears Cummings and Giroud's blooming bromance has had a happy ending after their mix-up in Qatar.
