Jasmine Crockett Confirms She Will Run In Texas' U.S. Senate Race As Poll Shows Her Leading Dems

Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett confirmed on Monday she will run for the U.S. Senate in Texas after hinting at such a decision for weeks.

Crockett threw her hat into the ring hours before the deadline to do so. She will now seek to unseat the incumbent, Republican Sen. John Cornyn, who is also facing a challenge within the party from state Attorney General Ken Paxton.
