Designer Samant Chauhan showcased his new collection at the ongoing Indore Times Fashion Week. His collection was around the festive lines with lehengas, anarkalis and kurta-pyjamas taking the centerstage. Samant had Jasmin Bhasin turn showstopper for him in an exquisite lehenga that was paired with a ruffled dupatta.
Jasmine wore a full-sleeved blouse with the lehenga and her hair was styled in side waves with floral adornment.
The whole set was adorned with vivid flowers making it a floral land as the models sauntered down the ramp. There were a lot of reds and yellows that dominated the whole collection and it was perfect for the wedding season and also the ongoing festivities.
Samant is known for drawing inspiration from architecture, history and travel. Samant’s debut Collection at the India Fashion Week received remarkable encouragement from the biggest names in the fashion fraternity. Also he became one of the finalists for the WOW, New Zealand from India. Samant started an eco-friendly line with the US based company, MOKSHA for Earth in 2006.
