Jarrow nursery rated outstanding just six months after Ofsted found it was inadequate

A South Tyneside nursery has been rated outstanding just six months after Ofsted found it was inadequate.

Inspectors previously raised safety concerns at Stanley's at Bede, at Bede Children's Centre, off Inverness Road, in Jarrow.

However, after the latest inspection, the council-run nursery was given top marks across the board for the quality of care and learning it provides to youngsters. It has now been rated as outstanding in all areas, with South Tyneside Council saying it is delivering on its priority of supporting families.
