Roma have reportedly entered the race to sign Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.
The 20-year-old has made a positive impression since joining PSV Eindhoven on a season-long loan, resulting in the centre-back being linked with a permanent switch to a whole host of European sides in recent days.
The latest team to be linked with Branthwaite is Roma, having reportedly sent scouts to watch the centre-back in action during his spell in the Netherlands.

A latest report from Leggo via Giallorossi.net has claimed Branthwaite 'stands out' among the players being monitored by the Serie A side, with Jose Mourinho understood to be keen on signing a left-sided defender for next season.
After first struggling to impose himself within the PSV starting eleven, the Carlisle-born star has now completed the full 90 minutes of action in each of the previous seven Eredivisie fixtures for his temporary employers.
As well as helping the team to clean sheets, Branthwaite has also developed a goalscoring streak of late. Indeed, the youngster has scored goals in his last two matches, only enhancing the strong reputation he has created for himself.
