Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. isn’t just a defensive monster on the court. He can also demolish the basket with the best of them.
During Tuesday night’s Grizzlies home stand against the LeBron James-less Los Angeles Lakers, Jackson Jr. rocked FedExForum to a new millennium when he obliterated the rim with one of the best putback dunks you’ll see this NBA season.
Poor Anthony Davis just so happened to be under the basket when Jackson made his superhuman putback, making the moment even more magnetizing.
Jackson is having the best season of his career, and he’s helping keep Memphis firmly entrenched in the Western Conference gamut.

If you felt your teeth rattle in your mouth as you watched that clip, don’t be alarmed. That’s just the “JJJ Affect” in action. Memphis’ 121-109 win on Tuesday night was made even sweeter with that truly incredible highlight.
Jackson is one of the best young talents in the NBA, and he will undoubtedly continue to assert his dominance on the league for years to come.
