The Detroit Lions could be different than in the past.
A perfect example was early in the game Thursday at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers.
On the Lions’ first drive, Jared Goff was picked by Rudy Ford.

Green Bay only was able to get a field goal.
On the next drive, Goff went back to the air and found rookie tight end Sam LaPorta for a long gain.
Next up was a pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown, who was wide open after Green Bay blew a coverage. Hard to believe the Lions’ best receiver could get that open.

It was 7-3 after the PAT.
