Japanese Mindset: In many parts of the world, hospitality is about being polite, offering good service, or making guests feel comfortable. In Japan, however, hospitality goes much deeper. It is built on a philosophy that values sincerity, selflessness, and thoughtful care without expecting anything in return. This philosophy is known as Omotenashi (おもてなし).
