And judging from the name itself, it's clear that one thing stands out: the bed. It's a full six feet long, made from steel, and rated to carry 1,212 pounds, it fundamentally changes how the RTV-X fits into a workday. This isn’t about squeezing in one more stuff. It’s about loading bigger and longer things. Stuff like lumber, fencing, feed, or landscaping gear in one go without reaching for a trailer. For many hardcore DIY-ers and professionals, that alone is the upgrade they’ve been waiting for.
That long bed sits on Kubota’s familiar RTV-X platform, which already has a strong reputation in farming, landscaping, ranching, and property maintenance. The Japanese company has spent decades building tractors and diesel equipment meant to run hard for years, and that philosophy carries straight into this UTV.
Power comes from a Kubota diesel engine paired with the brand’s VHT-X Variable Hydrostatic Transmission. The emphasis is control and durability. Smooth low speed response, easy modulation, and predictable behavior matter more here than headline performance numbers, especially when the bed is fully loaded or the terrain turns ugly.
Kubota backs that up with work-focused features like an available hydraulic dump box, the ProKonvert flatbed conversion system, and exclusive cargo accessories designed around real jobsite needs. Styling has also been toughened up with more aggressive bodywork and heavy duty multipurpose tires meant to handle daily punishment.
Buyers can choose classic Kubota Orange with HDMP or ATV tires, or go for a factory RealTree Camo package that adds LED cargo lights, a cargo winch, and a tailgate extender. It’s a ready-made option for hunters and outdoor users who want something useful right off the showroom floor.
