The 25-year-old father, identified as Tomokazu Miura, was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder.

The two victims, a 4-year-old and 1-year-old, were conscious when they were rushed to hospital, and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, as reported by Japan Today and Nagoya TV News.
