Japan vs Croatia prediction and odds ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup round of 16 clash

The last few places of the quarter-finals are yet to be decided with surprise package Japan looking to continue their amazing form when they face Croatia at the Al Janoub Stadium in Qatar. The 2022 FIFA World Cup has been host to a few shocks this season but one of the biggest has been Group E winners Japan.

The Samurai Blue are 11/4 with Betfred while the 2018 finalist are the bookies favourite at 11/10 and a draw is 23/10. The Asian side have won both their World Cup matches against European sides so far this winter.

Japan have made themselves somewhat of a giant killer during this competition with impressive wins against Spain and Germany help them secure top spot in Group E - despite bookies saying the complete opposite. Hajime Moriyasu has guided his national side to a brilliant so far and will be looking to keep the likes of Luka Modric quiet when they go head-to-head later.
