As ever, the new year brings much ado in the London restaurant scene. There are openings abound, from a second Josephine to the coming grace of New York celeb palace Carbone. Much when it comes to predictions, too: more pizza, pickle juice and tacos? What, if anything, will replace devilled eggs? And will burrata continue to plague us?
The new year also brings a dose of financial contemplation. Non-boomers will have to save money in the early stages of 2025. Those who still wish to feel as if life is worth living will want to eat out. And so January restaurant deals — some run into spring — are welcome.
