Righto, Jannik Sinner marches onto the final and Casper Ruud is left to lick his wounds.

That’s all the action from Turin today, thanks for your company and comments, we’ll be back tomorrow for the big finale as Sinner takes on Taylor Fritz, Katy Murrells will be your scribe for that. Time for me to tap out, goodbye.

Jannik Sinner Speaks:

I returned well, I raised my level and I’m very happy about the performance.

I’ll just try to play the best I can tomorrow, I’ve grown as a player since last year and it’s been a very positive year for me”

Not quotes to set the world alight and the big man doesn’t crack a smile but that isn’t his job is it. His job is tennis and he’s pretty darn good at that.
