Jang Wonyoung's Paris Fashion Week trip began at Incheon International Airport, and it was Dior from the first step. The IVE member departed for France on the morning of September 28 to attend Dior's Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear show, wearing a coordinated white short-sleeve knit sweater and skirt, black ballet flats and a pink bag. According to Sports Kyunghyang, every piece of the look, including the bag and shoes, was by Dior.

The styling was deliberately simple. Working in white from top to hem gave the pink bag a single, soft point of color, and the flat shoes kept the look easy for a long-haul flight. It was the kind of airport dressing K-pop fans have come to expect from brand-affiliated idols: photogenic and coordinated, but designed to be comfortable.

The trip led to Jonathan Anderson's third women's ready-to-wear collection for Dior, presented Tuesday, September 29, in the Jardin des Tuileries, the same setting as his Fall/Winter 2026 show in March. Dazed reported that the invitation was a pair of polished walnuts. Ahead of the show, Anderson had also shared teaser images of swan-shaped minaudières, worm-filled fruit, trumpet-flower earrings and floral-patterned heels. WWD's review said the designer had lightened his approach since his womenswear debut a year earlier, leaving behind the heavy pannier skirts and cage-like constructions, and made summer looks that felt as light as air.

Wonyoung was announced among the Asian guests for the show, alongside Blackpink's Jisoo, who has served as a Dior global ambassador since 2021, and Thai actors Lingling Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat, according to Grazia Singapore. Dazed's front-row roundup included Jisoo, Rosalía, Jennifer Lawrence, Anya Taylor-Joy, Mia Goth, Eileen Gu, Hyunjin and Cynthia Erivo. Korean outlet PAP reported that Wonyoung appeared outside the venue in a Dior dress with sheer and lace detailing and softly waved hair.

For Dior, the guest list is part of how a collection lands. Anderson has used K-pop's biggest names in his first year at the house. Jisoo wore his first womenswear design on stage in July 2025, in a custom pink two-piece during Blackpink's Deadline tour. The show also arrived in another hot spell: WWD noted that guests, Jisoo among them, struggled to stay cool while waiting for the show to start, and one attendee needed medical assistance.
