Janey Godley emotional as her 'Not Dead Yet' tour comes to an end amid cancer battle

Janey Godley was overcome with emotion as she thanked fans for their support during her 'Not Dead Yet' tour.

The 62-year-old comedian decided to go on the road amid her battle with ovarian cancer and completed the 27-date run while undergoing gruelling chemotherapy sessions.

Janey had wanted to go on tour "one last time" and managed to completely sell out all of her shows.

Her daughter, Ashley Storrie, accompanied her on tour and was with her mum as they wrapped up their final show.

Taking to Twitter, Janey said she was grateful to "every single person who bought every single seat" and seemed happy to be heading home.

"So that's us, finished the tour, we done it!

Before her tour kicked off, Janey revealed it may be the last time she performs live on stage.

In the video posted on Twitter, she said: "I'm looking forward to the tour, I think it’s fair and honest to say it might be the last time you see me live on stage.

"I'm hoping it's not, but I think it's a fair estimation that will be what we're looking at."
