Janey Godley has admitted she is 'so scared about her own future' as she wrote to fans from her bed.
Janey who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in November following symptoms including back pain, a bloated tummy, frequent urination and loss of appetite, told followers online of her latest mental health struggle.
Admitting she took a mental dip, Janey, who had a hysterectomy and was told the cancer had advanced to stage three following her op in January, told them: "As is the way with chemo, mood just took a deep dip, went back to bed and had to try and keep “upcycling” my mental health to a place where it’s OK to feel s****y and accept that.
"She added: Positive thinking is hard when you’re so scared of your own future #MentalHealthMatters."
Later on a livestream on her official Facebook page, Janey talked about raging Storm Dudley outside and her love of a piece and mince.
She also told fans she was feeling a little brighter.
She said: "'I don't want to talk about cancer all the time, There is no such thing as on the up. I'm just learning how to cope."
Janey who also had a new pixie cut ahead of her chemotherapy treatment told fans her 'hair is still there' .
She added: "I'm just chilly willy," as she talked about how high the winds were outside, and how during a previous bad weather episode her bay window blew in and she ended up in hospital when the frame hit on her head.
