Janette Manrara confirms she’s leaving Strictly as star says show has ‘changed hugely’

Janette Manrara has confirmed that she is leaving Strictly Come Dancing as the star says that the popular show has “changed hugely”.

Manrara was a professional dancer on the BBC series from 2013 to 2020, and then went on to host the spin-off show It Takes Two alongside Fleur East from 2021.

In a YouTube video posted on Wednesday (3 June), the presenter said: “Strictly Come Dancing has changed hugely, and I am no longer a part of It Takes Two or the main show.”

“Strictly is all I’ve known for the last 14 years”, she admitted, though added that she “will still be involved in other ways”.
