Janet Jackson has revealed her brother Michael taunted her because of her weight when she was younger.
The mum-of-one, 55, claims the Smooth Criminal star used to call her a "pig, horse" and a "slaughter hog."
Janet makes the allegations in her new tell-all documentary Janet, which airs on Lifetime and A&E on January 28 and 29.
The Rhythm Nation singer said: "There were times when Mike used to tease me and call me names. 'Pig, horse, slaughter hog, or cow'
"He would laugh about it and I'd laugh too, but then there was somewhere down inside that it would hurt.
"When you have somebody say you're too heavy, it affects you."
In the documentary which Janet says 'had to be made', the star reveals her issues with food started when she bagged a TV role in Good Times.
Janet was 11 when she starred as Penny in the sitcom and said she ate when she was emotional.
"I was developing at a very young age and I started getting a chest and they would bind it so I would look more flat-chested," she revealed.
When asked if she thought her weight fluctuation was triggered by being in the public eye Janet states she 'probably wouldn't have wound up having a problem'.
Despite her brother's teasing, Janet says she was was closet to him and brother Randy out of everyone in her family.
However in a trailer for the documentary, which marks 40 years since Janet's titular album, the star says: "There is a great deal of scrutiny that comes from having that last name."
Referring to the historic allegations of child sex abuse against Michael, Janet says being the star's sister made her "guilty by association".
At the start of the trailer for the eagerly-awaited documentary a host of famous faces pay homage to the Together Again star.
Whoopi Goldberg, Mariah Carey, Samuel L Jackson and Ciara all praise the talented artist however rapper Q-Tip admits he's shocked Janet decided to take part.
He admits: "For her to want to open up, I'm flabbergasted."
Janet was married to first husband, singer James DeBarge, for a year in the early 1980s before getting an annulment.
She then dated music mogul Jermaine Dupri in the 2000s before striking up a romance with Wissam Al Mana in 2010.
They married in secret in 2012 and Janet gave birth to her first child, a son named Eissa Al Mana, in 2017.
However the couple split just months after the birth.
Janet paid tribute to her son on his birthday recently saying: "You're Mama's Luv. Happy 5th Birthday baby!"
