Jane McDonald became emotional when appearing on BBC's The One Show.

The former Loose Women star was on the BBC show on Thursday night (January 12) to promote her new travel show which returns to Channel 5 on Friday night. She chatted to hosts Ronan Keating and Alex Jones about her experiences in Mexico and Cyprus, which will be shown on Holidaying with Jane McDonald.

The show played a clip of her upcoming show, where the 59-year-old was releasing baby turtles. She was heard saying: "I'm calling one Ed and one Jean."
