JAMMU: The sleuths of Central Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at around 33 locations across the country on Tuesday including Jammu and Kashmir in an ongoing investigation of a case related to the recruitment scam for the post of sub inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
According to official statement, "CBI is today conducting searches around 33 locations including at Jammu, Srinagar; Karnal, Mahendergarh, Rewari in Haryana; Gandhinagar in Gujarat; Delhi; Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh & Bangalore in Karnataka in an ongoing investigation of a case related to Sub Inspector Recruitment Scam of J&K (RC0042022A0008) at the premises of former Chairman, Controller of Examination of JKSSB, some Officials of J&K Police including a DSP and CRPF" It said, "Details will follow and added that the searches including at the premises of Khalid Jehangir, Former chairman JKSSB, Mr Ashok Kumar, Controller of Examination JKSSB."
