Jammu and Kashmir: Samba police busts SIM card vendors' racket

JAMMU: The police on Tuesday busted a fake SIM card vendor racket by arresting five persons including one subscriber for selling SIM cards by preparing false documents in the bordering Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Acting on a tip off that some persons are involved in fraudulent selling of sim cards by way of preparing false documents, forging identity related papers & records and are dishonestly issuing SIM cards against one single photo to different persons with IDs in Bari Brahmana area, police took action" Police spokesman from Samba said on late Tuesday evening.
