Jamie Webster will headline the On the Waterfront gigs when the series returns to the Pier Head next summer.
The singer, who last weekend performed at the M&S Bank Arena for the first time, will take to the stage on June 30 for his first major headline outdoor show, in front of the Three Graces. He will be joined on stage by fellow bandmates Lighting Seeds bassist Tim Cunningham and Mick Head’s Red Elastic Band guitarist Danny Murphy.
The announcement comes on the back of a UK and Ireland headline tour and a Glastonbury performance, along with the release of his second album ‘Moments’. Following his sell out show at the arena last weekend, Jamie said: “Announcing an outdoor headline show in Liverpool is a dream come true. Right on the River Mersey, under the Liver birds, I can’t put into words what it will mean to me seeing thousands of you on the Pier Head next Summer.
