Liverpool singer-songwriter Jamie Webster is adding an extra date to his huge headline On the Waterfront gig.
Earlier this week, it was announced the 28-year-old singer, who recently played to a sold out home crowd at M&S Bank Arena, would be returning to delight local crowds next summer by headlining an ever popular On the Waterfront show. The local legend will take to the stage on Friday, June 30 2023, with pre-sale tickets already sold out.
Now, an additional date has been confirmed. Webster will also perform on Thursday, June 29 2023 and pre-sale tickets are on sale now.

Taking to Twitter to confirm the extra show after the staggering demand for tickets for the original date, Jamie Webster penned: "We've sold it out. All pre-sale tickets gone in minutes. I genuinely don't believe it!
“You amazing people know how to put a smile on this lad’s face. F*** it. We're adding another show. Thursday 29th June. Let's see what happens. Who's game?"
The singer will be joined on stage by fellow musicians, Lighting Seeds bassist Tim Cunningham and Mick Head's Red Elastic Band guitarist Danny Murphy. The gig announcements follow an extensive UK and Ireland headline tour, and a Glastonbury performance, as well as the release of his second album, 'Moments'.
After his sell out show at the arena last weekend, Jamie said: "Announcing an outdoor headline show in Liverpool is a dream come true. Right on the River Mersey, under the Liver birds, I can’t put into words what it will mean to me seeing thousands of you on the Pier Head next summer.
“It’s my biggest show to date, all standing, it’s gonna be a night to remember. Playing shows like this is all down to my fans and I can’t thank you all enough. What a show this is going to be. My City, My People, My Heart."
On the Waterfront gigs have proved popular since their debut in 2021. They take over the Pier Head with global acts, to dazzle huge audiences of music lovers against the backdrop of the Three Graces and the River Mersey.
Other 2023 headliners include Camelphat, who will headline on Saturday, July 1, following the success of their headline show last year. More dates and acts are expected to be announced soon.
Tickets are expected to sell out and people can sign up now to be first in line for pre-sale tickets. General tickets go on sale on Friday, November 25. For more information, click here.
