Jamie Oliver shocks fans with new curly hairstyle as wife Jools celebrates Valentine's Day

Jamie Oliver is sporting a bold new look.

The Naked Chef, 47, has left fans stunned with his new hairstyle and drastically different appearance, thanks to wife Jools sharing a gushing Valentine's Day tribute on social media.

Jools took to Instagram this afternoon to pay tribute to her partner of 30 years and shared a sweet snap of herself and husband Jamie enjoying an outdoor smooch.

"Happy [love] day to my everything and my favourite over 30 Valentines later," the star captioned the adorable picture to her fans.

Jools' followers were quick to comment on Jamie's new 'do - with some shocked at how different the TV chef looks these days.

"Is that Jamie???? Looks so different," one asked underneath Jool's Valentine's Day post.

"are you sure thats him," another joked, as a third asked: "Who are you kissing!?"

"That's not Jamie," yet another confused Instagram user declared in the comments, with one jokingly asking if Jamie has had a perm!

Jools and Jamie have been loved-up for many year and are doting parents to Poppy Honey Rosie, 18, Petal Blossom Rainbow, 11, Buddy Bear Maurice, 10, Daisy Boo Pamela, seven, and River Rocket Blue, four.

In 2021, Jool bravely revealed how the couple had planned to add a sixth child to their brood but sadly experienced pregnancy loss.

"So I have thought about IVF because having researched it and spoken to some amazing people, it seems like the right option for my age," she shared with the Mirror during the same year when discussing her family plans.

"But you know that it's hard because also I've got a partner you know, I've got to think about him. I'm not so sure he's that keen to do it that way. So I don't want to push anything, because I'm very lucky."

Away from debuting his new curls, Jamie recently sparked a debate thanks to his comments about the hospitality industry.

The dad-of-five says he's baffled by the fact young people don't want to cook up a storm in the kitchen.

Jamie muses how he believes "British kids and young people don't want to work in kitchens" these days while reflecting on his own childhood helping his parents out in their Essex pub.

The TV chef explains how there's a "real happiness to be had" in the kitchen as he recalls how he only became a culinary master due to repetition and spending many a hour by a stove as a young lad.

The dad-of-five claims he was only good at cooking as a child due to the fact he "just did it again and again", as he ponders why younger generations don't seem to be following in his footsteps.

But some critics felt Jamie's comments were slightly misguided, as he didn't address the fact many jobs in kitchen are famously very low paid - with entry level cooking jobs usually not boasting a salary above minimum wage.
