Jamie Oliver is ending his exclusive contact with Channel 4 after 20 years according to a report in The Times.
The TV chef, who has what is referred to as a 'golden handcuffs' deal with the broadcaster, has reportedly said he wishes to work with other broadcasters.
However he has said he wishes to maintain a close relationship with Channel 4 for the future.
The Times revealed his plans in a piece about how political presenter Andrew Neil is set to join the channel to host a weekly politics show later this year. in a reported shake-up at Channel 4.
It is reported that 46-year-old restaurateur Oliver is in talks with Netflix and Amazon for future programmes, "but has not abandoned Channel 4 completely", and is discussing programmes with them for the future.
His latest series for Channel 4 series, The Great Cookbook Challenge, begins on Monday.
During his time with the broadcaster, he has Oliver has produced more than 40 series and specials for Channel 4 since joining as The Naked Chef in 2002.
