Jamie Lynn Spears has broken her silence following her early exit from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! this week.
The US star took to Instagram on Thursday and said she will be spending time with her family following her departure from the jungle.
She penned: "I can't wait to share with y'all everything about this once in a lifetime experience, but I don't even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.
"Thank yall for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows. I'm am so grateful for this show, and all of the wonderful people apart of it!
"I will be taking some time to recovery and spend time with my family, but looking forward to sharing all about my journey on @imacelebrity with everyone! Love yallll."
Her social media post comes after it was revealed that she will be paid her full I’m A Celebrity fee after she quit the show.
The sister of Britney Spears is rumoured to be earning £250,000 for her appearance despite leaving camp on “medical grounds” on Wednesday.
The rules regarding campmates’ fees first came to light after TOWIE star Gemma Collins quit the 2014 series three days in.
The guidelines state that celebs will receive their full payment if they stay in camp for at least 72 hours.
Previously, Collins revealed she didn’t get her fee in full and ended up donating what she did earn to charity Save The Children.
At the time, her rep said: “I can confirm that the £4,800 fee was the full and final fee that Gemma received for her participation in last year’s I’m A Celebrity.”
Despite these rules, Olivia Attwood is believed to have received her full fee, which was understood to be approximately £100,000 - £125,000, despite withdrawing from camp just 24 hours after arriving thanks to a contract clause.
The Love Island star was forced to leave camp on medical grounds last year.
A source told The Mirror: “Olivia wanted to continue and because it was the medical team’s decision she has done nothing wrong and so should be in line to get paid.
“She definitely didn’t quit and wouldn’t have quit, she wanted to stay.”
Spears’ departure comes amid reports that the American star had talked to bosses about leaving days prior.
The Zoe 101 actress was left in tears on several occasions as she told her campmates she was missing her daughters Maddie, 15, and Ivey, five. However, show producers are said to have managed to persuade her to stay for 11 days.
Spears is the second celebrity to quit the jungle following food critic Grace Dent’s shock departure on Monday also due to “medical grounds”.
With two celebrities quitting and Nella Rose being briefly absent from Tuesday’s instalment after she was “rushed to a medic”, viewers shared their concerned that the show might run out of famous faces before the final.
One fan commented on X, formerly known as Twitter: “At this rate the winner will be decided by them being the only one not to leave on medical grounds."
“Medical grounds? There’ll be nobody left soon,” another penned. A third added: “At this rate maybe Nigel Farage will win by default.”
Another remarked: “They are dropping like flies this year. Cyclone is going to be earlier this year.”
Those now left in the jungle include Rose, Farage, Danielle Harold, Fred Sirieix, Josie Gibson, Marvin Humes, Nick Packard, Sam Thompson, Tony Bellew and Frankie Dettori.
