Jamie Laing thought he was being pranked after facing serious delays, lost luggage and frayed tempers during his honeymoon hell with new wife Sophie Habboo.
The couple first tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London in April, before exchanging vows once again in a lavish ceremony in Marbella, Spain earlier this month, surrounded by their family and friends.
The newlyweds then headed off to their dream honeymoon destination - South America - on Monday, but they were faced with a series of unfortunate events that dampened their holiday spirits.
The Candy Kittens founder took to social media to reveal he and Sophie, 29, had one of their flights cancelled unexpectedly, leaving them stranded.
“This is WILD… We’re flying on our honeymoon to South America, connecting flight in Amsterdam,” Jamie wrote on his Instagram Stories.
“KLM are delayed but we still have time to make our flight. Without warning, they take us off the connecting flight,” he continued.
“So now we have to fly back to London, then fly to Colombia, then fly to Panama and then fly to our honeymoon destination,” he added.
Furious, he wrote: “This is a TOTAL F**K UP.”
He then updated his followers with news that they were finally on their way to Colombia, but were missing some important items.
“We’re now put on different flights to Colombia and our luggage is still in Amsterdam. I think we’re being pranked…” Jamie wrote.
The couple, who host the NearlyWeds podcast, then shared the news they had finally arrived in Colombia, but still faced an astonishing amount of flights to get to their destination.
“Little update for anyone who cares,” Jamie began. “We have arrived in Bogota in Columbia. It’s 3.15am, we’re now going to have to change flights.”
As Sophie appeared in the background, the former Made in Chelsea star then explained they have to change flights, go to Panama, then change two more times before arriving at their honeymoon destination.
“We don’t even know if our luggage is with us because we think it’s still in Amsterdam,’ he added. “The journey continues, isn’t that right honey?”
