Jamie Jones-Buchanan has named his first 21-man squad as interim head coach of Leeds Rhinos. The West Yorkshire outfit take on Castleford Tigers on Saturday in the sixth round of the Challenge Cup and Jones-Buchanan will be eyeing a reaction following the departure of Richard Agar.
Matt Prior is the most high profile name to come into the squad after completing a one-match ban and he replaces Zane Tetevano, who will serve the first of his two-game suspension this weekend. David Fusitu’a also misses out due the knee injury that has ruled him out of training this week.
Liam Tindall, Muizz Mustapha and Jarrod O’Connor are all named after picking up game time with Bradford Bulls recently. Young hooker Corey Johnson misses out with a knee issue.
Jones-Buchanan has been tasked with turning Leeds’ form around after taking the reins and he’ll be desperate to see his side pick up what would be just their second win of the season this weekend.
