Jamie Dornan and his family are on the move again amid reports they have sold their Cotswold country house for around £5 million. But the big question is 'where to?'
Fans have expressed surprise that the couple have sold their eight-bedroom pad near Stroud because they have always spoken about how happy they were living there. Amelia once said she felt a tremendous sense of coming home and "of this house being where we were meant to be".
But The MailOnline has now reported that longstanding rumours of a sale are definite. So could be they be waving farewell to the Cotswolds or just moving to a bigger place nearby?

Because now that Holywood man Jamie 's career has taken off again after starring in Kenneth Branagh's Oscar winning film Belfast and the acclaimed TV series the Tourist, the world is literally their oyster. This year they both turned 40, so after a lifetime of globetrotting are they looking for their "forever home"?
GloucestershireLive looked at the possibilities of where the couple might be moving to next.
The Cotswolds
Jamie and Amelia moved into their current home set on 22 acres just after their third daughter was born in February 2019. Amelia, explained: "We had a cottage near Bath that we used to go to for weekends. After we had our daughter we were spending more and more time there and just fell in love with it. It is the perfect place for young children. They are free and feral."
They have a horse, two goats, five chickens, a dog and a golf simulator for sports mad Jamie. The have spoken about how they had a lovely time being together in the countryside during lockdown and award-winning composer Amelia, who has a studio at the house, once said: "The beauty of the Cotswolds is a huge inspiration to me". Her EP Haven was recorded in the drawing room of the house which features on the cover.
Amelia has spoken about how she goes wild swimming in the Thames with a group of friends, including one of the parents from school so she clearly loves the great outdoors too. Both Amelia and Jamie have friends in the area and recently held a joint 40th birthday party at home.
Jamie has told how wonderful it has been sharing the success of the last few years with his family even though there are times it can be "frustrating" travelling with young children. Amelia told the Independent: “The children are so little, they don’t really know where they are. So travelling with them isn’t a problem. They are so flexible at that age. They are just happy to be with us.”
Los Angeles based Variety journalist Emily Longeretta posted images from a photographic session and said: "Jamie Dornan's adorable children accompanied him to this shoot and made him laugh the whole time it. It was everything. "
Yet with three little girls rapidly growing up, how long will that last? Eldest girl Dulcie who was born in Vancouver is approaching her ninth birthday in November so she is only two years off secondary school. Elva was born in London in 2015 and Alberta in February 2019.
Northern Ireland
Since making the film Belfast, Jamie has often spoken about how much he loves Northern Ireland and how he loved returning here to film the movie. He says Holywood has a community vibe, and the people of here have an openness and desire to welcome people.
He himself has pointed to the thriving film industry with Game of Thrones, Derry Girls and The Fall all being made at home. He still has a very close gang of friends from school.
And it would be good for the girls. "It's a great place to grow up for this reason too, whether you want the beach, the mountains, the forest, a city centre or whatever, it's all within half an hour", he told one interviewer.
But although he has friends, he doesn't have close family. His mother Lorna died when he was 16 and his father Jim died in March 2021. He has two older sisters Liesa, who lives in London, and Jessica, an interior designer in Cornwall.
London
Jamie is currently filming scenes for his latest movie Heart of Stone in London with Gal Gadot and it appears that Amelia is there as well. They both have strong links to the capital.
Jamie originally moved to London around 20 years ago and quickly shot to fame as a model with campaigns for fashion companies such as Hugo Boss, Armani, Dior Homme and Calvin Klein. Labelled "The Golden Torso" by The New York Times he worked with the likes of Eva Mendes and Kate Moss but his real ambition was to be an actor.
Although born on Merseyside, Amelia was brought up in London after her parents split up. She is the daughter of actors Annette Ekblom who appeared in Peak Practice, Morse, The Brokers Man and Brookside., and Alun Lewis, who played postmaster Vic Windsor in Yorkshire soap Emmerdale.
Artist Amelia clearly loves visiting art galleries and attending literary events so city life may suit her more as the girls grow up. Jamie's friends Eddie Redmayne, who he shared digs with, and Robert Pattinson now live in London so they would be close by for get togethers.
Last year Jamie told an interviewer: "Eddie’s been one of my best mates for a long time, and now we’ve got, you know, five kids between us, and we’re very much more sort of together people and stable people, probably."
Australia
The whole family decamped to Australia when Jamie was filming hit BBC TV show The Tourist during a traumatic time when he could not see his father Jim for 18 months before he died because of Covid restrictions.
Jamie said he and Amelia have a rule never to be apart for longer than two weeks, and the family enjoyed their spell down under. He once said: "My kids went to school. It was marvellous. It was our eldest daughter’s eighth birthday recently, and she spent an hour and a half on Zoom with her Aussie mates at 8am."
Amelia has spoken about how the girls loved being in Australia when Jamie was filming in and around Adelaide in late December 2020 and early 2021. She recently posted a picture of them on Instagram saying she could hardly believe it was taken a year ago.
Even though the series was a massive hit for BBC One and HBO Max in January 2022 and a follow up is planned., a move to Australia is unlikely. In The Tourist he plays a man with an international back story so any sequel or prequel could be based anywhere.
And if they lived everywhere Jamie has filmed, they would never settle. Fifty Shades was in Vancouver. Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar was filmed in Mexico, Wild Mountain Thyme in Ireland, Heart of Stone in Italy and London.
Hollywood
Jamie moved to Hollywood to pursue his acting career around 2009. He shared digs with Eddie Redmayne and Andrew Garfield and hung around with famous names such as Robert Pattinson before they all hit the big time. “I mean, there’s loads of us who actually ended up going on to do pretty well for ourselves,” he said. “But at the time, we, we weren’t. We were pretty, yeah, pretty, pretty messy.”
It was here he started dating Amelia who was also trying to break into the industry at the time. They started seeing each other in 2010 and he proposed two years later, marrying in Somerset in 2013.
Jamie achieved global fame with the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise in 2014 which he says set him up financially and he bought a modern mansion with a pool in 2016 for a reported $2.843 million. But when they moved to the Cotswolds, Jamie put his three bedroom Nichols Canyon home in LA on the market in 2020 for $3.195 million.
The circa-1959 mid-century modern home designed by the renowned architect Edward H. Fickett had a huge patio area and swimming pool, the complete opposite of his homely, traditional Cotswold country pile.
But the pair clearly enjoyed being back in their old stomping when they returned with their children in the run up to awards season earlier this year. They were pictured on beaches, in art galleries and in showbiz parties as Jamie gave a range of interviews ahead of the Oscars for which Belfast was nominated numerous times.
So as Jamie's career soars and he is being tipped as the next James Bond, are they likely to move across the Atlantic. You never know. It could be anywhere. Amelia once said: "I can sometimes get restless. I enjoy living in other cities and countries, having adventures as a family, but home is very important to me. The feeling and concept of home as well as the actual bricks and mortar."
So where do you think they might be moving to?
