Arsenal's double deal from Manchester City last summer helped spark their title push this season, adding the experience and technical quality of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko to the side. The pair have been ever-present, injuries aside, and have brought an extra dimension to Mikel Arteta's system.
Zinchenko has allowed the Spaniard to adopt the inverted full-back approach, pushing into midfield to add to the build-up play from the back. Jesus hasn't only added goals, but his ability to rotate across the front three, with unselfishness and his ability to press has made the Gunners formidable this campaign.
"The boys [Jesus and Zinchenko] who have won it [the Premier League] brought something different to the team as they have experienced those moments," Mikel Arteta explained last month when asked on the duo's impact. "They know that we have to seek excellence against the opposition we play against, and it has to be perfect in everything we do to earn the chance to be there. Another thing is to win it, but we are there, and now we have to win it, so we have to be exceptional at everything we do."

Sporting Director Edu Gaspar could look to repeat that feat once again as 90Min report that Arsenal are amongst a number of clubs eyeing a switch for Man City star Joao Cancelo. The full-back has impressed for the Cityzens, but was allowed to leave on a loan deal to Bayern Munich in January.
The Champions League star could add the technical quality that Arteta is looking for as well as added quality on the left and right of defence. However, Jamie Carragher has explained that any move from City to Arsenal is now unlikely due to the fact they are now competing.
"Pep and Manchester City will never sell a player to Arsenal ever again," Carragher told the Overlap earlier this season. "The reason why Oleksandr Zinchenko was sold to Arsenal is because of Pep's mate - and he didn’t feel Arsenal were a threat."
It remains to be seen if that will be the case again if Arsenal come knocking to try and land Cancelo in the next few months of the summer transfer window.
